thoughts of release

Do much of anyone listen ever to their lyrics anymore? Or are most people just lost music fans who don’t even know what’s going into their ears & into their being? I miss when people took time for their lyrics. When they had much better or truer meanings. Don’t get me wrong, there is still a great deal of music that does a fantastic job of that. But it seems that more & more just repeat the same line or make really simple songs out of poor inspiration. I feel like, “Good job, you thought up an awesome line. Now where’s the rest of that song? Or are you really going to sing the same thing over & over & over again?” Because, you know, that doesn’t sound remotely boring at all….
